Kroksbäcksparken is located between two dwellings, Krokbäck and Holma, both built as a part of the million-program in Sweden in the 1960's. A new living area is planned south of the park, and in connection to this, a metro station, bringing the transportation time down to seven minutes from the park to the center of Malmö.

The hills in the park are made from excess dirt from the building projects in the 1960's. From the top of the hills, there is a view to where the planned living area is located, and the bridge to Denmark.

Existing conditions. Primary connections, new and existing. The goal is to connect the two living areas, and make light traffic access easy throughout the park.

The surrounding landscape, a reference for the park layout.

Kroksbäcksparken in Malmö context, as part of a string of green spots. On the right is a diagrammatic design of the park, with each zone representing a vegetation type found in the surrounding landscape.
