The diagrams show how the plan is derived from a principle of re-using existing entrances, infrastructure, buildings and green structures.
The infrastructure is seperated to keep car traffic on a low level. Some roads are connected, but others are one way in/out. Left-over existing road entrances are re-used for soft traffic, giving the bicyclists and pedestrians a more inviting and green entrance to the area and park.

Housing are placed using different criteria. Row housing are placed only in the eastern part of the area. This type of housing needs most space, and the existing infrastructure couldn’t provide this space. Orientation of the row housing is to give most sunlight in the houses and gardens.
Appartments and starters are placed in existing building plots, again to be able to use the roads surrounding the buildings. They too are orientated with sun light in mind, and to keep a clear and car free access to the park.

The overall concept of the green structures have to do with management more than species. The idea is that the cut grass fields placed through the whole area are human space. Places for sports, kids, picnic etc. depending on the size of the grass patch.
The un-cut grass/shrub areas are for animals to use. The patches are connected from the southern border of the area through the park to the office area. Anmails should be able to move in the shrubs and they also have access to the retention ponds.
